Scholarships

Cost is not a reason a kid sits out.

The scholarship fund covers registration, gear and travel for families who cannot. It is quiet by design — a team never learns which of its players it covered.

What it covers

  • Registration fees for either program
  • Gloves, cleats, bats and protective gear
  • Uniforms and team apparel
  • Tournament fees and travel costs

Every season, families tell us they want their kid to play and cannot make the numbers work. Sometimes it is the registration. More often it is the glove, the cleats, the fee for a tournament three hours away, and the gas to get there.

We do not means-test with paperwork and we do not make anyone explain themselves in front of other parents. A coach, a board member, or a parent asks, and it gets handled.

A team never learns which of its players the fund covered.

If your family needs help

Talk to your coach, or write to us. It stays between you and whoever handles it.

If you want to fund a season

This is the ask most people say yes to, because it is the most concrete thing you can do here: one donation puts one specific kid on a field.

Give to the fund

This page becomes specific as soon as we have:

  • How families actually request help today, and who decides
  • What a season costs per kid, so donors know what they are funding
  • How many players the fund covered last season
  • Whether there is a named fund or memorial gift the board wants recognized
